Attribute_Accuracy_Explanation:
Scale is an important factor in data usage. Certain scale datasets are not suitable for some project, analysis, or modelling purposes. Please be sure you are using the best available data.

1:24000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the county level. 1:24000 data should NOT be used for high accuracy base mapping such as property parcel boundaries.

1:100000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the multi-county or regional level. 1:125000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the regional or state level or larger.

Vector datasets with no defined scale or accuracy should be considered suspect. Make sure you are familiar with your data before using it for projects or analysis. Every effort has been made to supply the user with data documentation. For additional information, see the References section and the Data Source Contact section of this documentation. For more information regarding scale and accuracy, see our webpage at: <http://geoplan.ufl.edu/education.html>. These data are based on interpretation of available information and should not be construed as legally binding.

Process_Description:
LANDCOV95 was taken from a cd-rom supplied by Suwannee River Water Management District. 37 quads were updated with spatially corrected quads. When received from the District the coverage and updated quads were in State Plane feet zone 3576 datum HPGN. Data was then reprojected to FGDL Albers HPGN, named SRLU95_UP, DESCRIPT item was added based on FEATURE, old internal coverage items were dropped, and all character items were upcased.
Process_Step:
Process_Description:
This data set was offered as SRLU95 in FGDL Version 3. The data set was updated with 37 quads due to spatial shift taking place within these quads.

1994-5 aerial color infrared photography was interprted on a USGS 7.5' quadrangle basis. The Land Use Cover and Forms Classification System (FLUCFCS), originally developed by the DOT, was followed.

The following designations (N, R, S, or X) following many of the LANDUSE codes were used after the SRWMD Code (for example, see 1140S).

An N in the SRWMD Code indicates a new definition of the FLUCFCS code that is significantly different from the original (for example, see 4190N).

An R indicates a modified FLUCFCS code (for example, see 4320R).

An S indicates a supplemental code (for example, see 1140S). The supplemental codes were created specifically for this land use map, and they have no direct counterpart in the FLUCFCS codes.

An X indicates that a FLUCFCS code wasn't used for this coverage (for example, see 2120X). The order of the SRWMD Code is organized in strict character-based numeric order.

Process_Step:
Process_Description:
GeoPlan, during the QA/QC process included the following aspects: 1.) Updated with 37 spatially corrected quads 2.) Reprojected data to FGDL Albers HPGN (See "Map Projection Parameters" below) 3.) Upcased all character records 4.) DESCRIPT item added based on FEATURE 5.) lipped to County boundaries
