1:100000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the multi-county or regional level. 1:125000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the regional or state level or larger.
Vector datasets with no defined scale or accuracy should be considered suspect. Make sure you are familiar with your data before using it for projects or analysis. 1994-5 aerial color infrared photography was interprted on a USGS 7.5' quadrangle basis. The Land Use Cover and Forms Classification System (FLUCFCS), originally developed by the DOT, was followed.
The following designations (N, R, S, or X) following many of the LANDUSE codes were used after the SRWMD Code (for example, see 1140S).
An N in the SRWMD Code indicates a new definition of the FLUCFCS code that is significantly different from the original (for example, see 4190N).
An R indicates a modified FLUCFCS code (for example, see 4320R).
An S indicates a supplemental code (for example, see 1140S). The supplemental codes were created specifically for this land use map, and they have no direct counterpart in the FLUCFCS codes.
An X indicates that a FLUCFCS code wasn't used for this coverage (for example, see 2120X). The order of the SRWMD Code is organized in strict character-based numeric order.
