If no coordinates were given for the specific location of the birds, then the coordinates of the survey site were used to plot the point. If no coordinates were provided, the point was plotted using the accompanying field maps. All points were then verified for spatial accuracy within ArcView. Plover locations in the panhandle of Florida were checked against DOQQ's (from FL DEP, 2004, 1m resolution) and county boundaries (TIGER/Census data, 2000, 1:100K) and appear to line up correctly.
