Item         Item description

NAME         County name.

ABBRV_NAME   Abbreviated county name including the FGDL code.

FGDL_CODE    FGDL code for the county.  Counties were numbered 
             alphabetically.

IMAGE        The name of the image for this county.

XMIN         The XMIN coordinate for the image's extent.

YMIN         The YMIN coordinate for the image's extent.

XMAX         The XMAX coordinate for the image's extent.

YMAX         The YMAX coordinate for the image's extent.

USER NOTES:

The images are scanned USGS 1:100000 quadrangles that have been combined and clipped down to the county boundaries. There is one image for each county. This shapefile is a set of polygons for county boudaries. Each polygon holds information about the associated image, including the county name and image extent coordinates.

This shapefile was created by FGDL to work with a specific ArcView application created and distributed by the FGDL.
