DEP.CHAZ_SP is a denormalized table of data from the CHAZ database schema with geometry created using Oracle Spatial to support the following view-based ArcSDE layers: CHAZ, HFCs, HWTs, LQGs, SQGs, TSDs, and UOTs.

This data layer is sensitive in nature and has been retrieved from the FDEP by GeoPlan for use by Florida Department of Transportation use only. A variety of methods were used for collecting location information for records in this dataset. See the field METHOD for location determination method. This dataset is currently part of a program to clean up locational data. Some locations may change during business hours due to SWAP applications. THE DATA INCLUDED IN FGDL ARE 'AS IS' AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS LEGALLY BINDING. THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA GEOPLAN CENTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF USING, MODIFYING, CONTRIBUTING OR DISTRIBUTING THE MATERIALS. A note about data scale: Scale is an important factor in data usage. Certain scale datasets are not suitable for some project, analysis, or modeling purposes. Inception of scripted refresh process. Information is pulled from regulatory database daily. Process Date: 19990709 Pull scripts modified to reflect table, view and column name changes due to migration of databases to agency web-compliant naming standards. Process Date: 20020122 Pull scripts modified to allow greater precision during location calculations and to assume NULL values as NAD83. Process Date: 20021212 Pull scripts modified to integrate CHAZ into SWAP WebPoint data cleanup. Process Date: 20030616 This Oracle Spatial table initialized in the production ArcSDE environment. It is updated via a nightly pull from EPIC30 and supports ArcSDE views. Process Date: 20050721 This dataset was received by the GeoPlan Center via email on 08/18/2008. The data was originally in sdx format (sde export). The sdx file was imported into sde and exported to shapefile. When received the data set was in the following projection: Albers NAD 83 HARN. 12 points were deleted that fell in the Gulf of Mexico. Other points exist in the dataset that may fall into bodies of water. These were not removed. These may be corrected with time by the FDEP. This dataset is updated daily. Contact the FDEP for the most recent data. - Added the field DESCRIPT based on NAME. - Added the field FGDLAQDATE based on date downloaded from source. - Upcased all text in the attribute table. - Data set was renamed fdep_chaz from chaz Process Date: 20080818 Data imported to ArcSDE and exported as a shapefile.
